Project kick-off

This is my first week at Philips Design Healthcare in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It’s also the first week of my master-degree project at Umea Institute of Design. I am going to work closely with Philips on the Radiologists Reading Room, based on a project Philips presented on RSNA in 2007. I haven’t designed any medical or healthcare related products in my career so far. So I have spent the first days of my research with reading about Radiologists and Medical Imaging in general. It’s a fascinating topic and a lot more complex than I’ve thought before.
